Presentation
Chalet Orion opens straight onto the piste in Val Thorens, tucked just below Place du Caron beside the new Sports Centre. This self-catered apartment fills the lower ground floor of Chalet Alrock, with three twin bedrooms for six guests. A sauna awaits on the floor above. It suits a family or a small group of friends who like to cook on their own schedule.
Bedrooms and living space share a single level. The lounge has a grey sofa and leather armchairs, and opens onto a terrace. A wooden table seats all six for dinner, and the fully equipped kitchen runs along one wall.
The three bedrooms lead off a corridor beside the lounge. Each is a twin with its own shower room and WC, and bathrobes are laid out for your arrival.
The building's ski and boot room is upstairs by the main entrance, near the sauna.
On arrival the beds are already made, and towels and toiletries are laid on. Included too are Wi-Fi throughout and a clean mid-week. Beginners can ski down to the magic carpets. Confident skiers can head for the gondolas and chairlifts or run all the way to Les Menuires.
Slopes right outside and a sauna one floor up make Chalet Orion a clever little base in Val Thorens. A young family or six friends sharing will have a fabulous week here, with the 600 km Three Valleys to explore.
