Presentation
Sitting right on the slopes in Val Thorens, this roomy duplex fills two or three floors of the Plein Sud residence. A shared spa, sauna and fitness room give the group somewhere to unwind once the skiing is done. Six bedrooms sleep up to 12, with plenty of room for a large group or several families travelling together.
The main living floor is warm and sociable, centred on a log fire that draws everyone in come the evenings. Several south-facing balconies open off the space for fresh mountain air and afternoon sun. A separate kitchen is well set up for self-catering, with a dishwasher and coffee machine ready for big breakfasts and hearty evening meals.
The sleeping is spread across six bedrooms, one with a double and five laid out as twins. This gives couples, friends and younger guests plenty of flexible combinations. Six shower and bathrooms serve the floors, along with two or three WCs, at least two of them separate.
The residence spa and sauna soothe tired legs at the end of the day, while the fitness room suits anyone keen to keep moving. A ski room with boot warmers dries boots for the morning and keeps skis and boards out of the way. Parking, laundry facilities, a reception lounge and left luggage all add useful touches, and dogs are welcome too.
