The Portillo studio sits on the eighth floor of its residence in Val d'Isère, with a south-facing balcony and a warm, welcoming feel for evenings in. Cleverly arranged with a separate alcove, it sleeps four. It suits a couple, a small family or friends sharing.
The living area has a single bed and a pull-out bed, with a television. A sliding door closes off an alcove holding a double bunk, giving the sleeping a little privacy. The kitchen is well equipped for its size, with a dishwasher, a ceramic hob, a raclette machine and a stone grill.
A balneo shower room with a toilet serves the studio. A washing machine with a dryer helps on longer stays. Its bath jets are a pleasant way to ease tired legs.
A ski locker and a boot dryer keep the day-to-day simple. They dry boots for the morning and keep skis and boards out of the studio. Beds are made for arrival, with linen and towels included and an end-of-stay clean.
