Just 100 metres from the slopes in Val d'Isère, this duplex apartment sits in the La Roche des Fours residence. Set on the second floor, it has a recently renovated, good-standing finish and room for up to five guests. It works well for a family or a group of friends sharing a ski week.
The open living room is set up for evenings in once the skiing is done, with a sofa bed, a television and a DVD player. An east-facing balcony runs off it to catch the morning light. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, with a dishwasher, a Nespresso machine and a raclette machine for a proper Savoyard supper. It makes cooking for the group easy and sociable.
A mezzanine bedroom sits on the upper level, closed off by its own door, with two single beds and a pull-out bed. The living-room sofa bed takes the total to five. Downstairs there is a bathroom and a separate WC, with a second shower room upstairs, giving two bathrooms in all.
Boots and skis go in the ski locker at the end of the day, kept out of the apartment. A washing machine handles longer stays, and Wi-Fi is included. Beds are made up before arrival, with fresh linen, towels and an end-of-stay clean all provided.
