Chalet Thovex sits in the centre of Val d'Isère, opening onto a terrace with a nordic bath, a fine way to soak under the mountain sky. Spread over three floors and around 200 m2, it sleeps 12 across six bedrooms. It makes a characterful base for a big group or families sharing in the heart of the resort.
A large living room, a dining area and a fitted kitchen share the welcoming main floor, gathered around a fireplace. A south-facing balcony runs off the floor, catching the afternoon sun. Meals for the whole group come together easily here.
The six bedrooms are spread across the three floors, each with its own bathroom, and every one can be arranged as a double or twins. Two sit on the entrance level, one on the main floor and three more on the top floor beside a TV corner. The flexible setup suits couples and children alike.
On the top floor, a sauna offers another spot to ease tired legs after the slopes.
On the entrance level, a laundry room with a boot dryer sits ready, drying boots for the morning. A welcome basket, champagne, wood for the fire, fresh linen and a mid-stay clean are all part of the stay.
