Presentation
A head chef cooks five dinners a week at Chalet des Légendes, with breakfasts and an après-ski snack included. Staff are on site through the stay. A heated swimming pool with water jets, a jacuzzi and a hammam make up the spa. The chalet runs to 355 m² over four levels in Val d'Isère Centre, with a lift between them, and sleeps twelve. It is made for a large group or several families taking it whole.
Deliberately modern, the architecture sets clean lines and large windows against the usual alpine conventions. Under a vaulted ceiling sit the lounge, a fireplace, a dining area and a projection screen. The bar is the room's real showpiece. Off the lounge runs a sunny terrace. Separate rather than open to the room, the kitchen is fully equipped, and it is where the chef works.
Four bedrooms sit on the first floor. Three have a double bed that can be made up as twins, and the fourth holds two sets of bunk beds, which suits children. On the top floor, the main bedroom has a private terrace and a bathroom of its own. All five have an en-suite shower or bathroom.
Water jets run in the pool, with the jacuzzi and hammam beside it. Completing it are a massage room and a relaxation lounge with its own bar, ready for tired legs after a day on the snow.
Champagne is opened on arrival, and there is a well-stocked cellar of wines and spirits. Fresh flowers and newspapers come daily, along with the cleaning. Beds are made before arrival and bathrobes and slippers are provided. The ski room is heated and has boot warmers. The chalet's own chauffeur and shuttle run to the slopes, and there is a charging point for an electric car.
