Presentation
A hot tub sits out on the balcony at Chalet Arosa, looking across Val d'Isère. It stands in a sunny spot in the main village. Its own shuttle runs to the resort centre and the slopes every day but Saturday. Five bedrooms sleep ten across four floors. It would suit a larger family, or a group of friends sharing.
The living room takes the second floor, under a double-height ceiling with large windows and a fireplace at its centre. A Savoyard oak table seats ten. The kitchen next door is a spacious one, with a dishwasher and coffee machine among the kit, so catering for ten is straightforward. Above it a mezzanine adds a quieter corner with a television.
All five bedrooms have Italian beds, made up as a king or as twins, and each has a bathroom of its own. Two of them open onto a private west-facing balcony.
The hot tub is where a day on the snow ends, with the resort spread out beyond it.
Bread and croissants are delivered on the first morning. A welcome basket, bathrobes, slippers and firewood come with the stay, the beds are made before arrival, and an end-of-stay clean is included. Boots dry in the ski room by the entrance, and dogs are welcome.
