Presentation
Chalet Camille stands just 30 metres from the piste in Tignes Lavachet, with the Paquis and Chaudanne chairlifts right in front of it. Completely refurbished inside in 2023, this free-standing catered home sleeps 14 in seven bedrooms. For unwinding, it has a private hot tub and sauna. It is roomy enough for a large crowd of friends or an extended family.
On the upper floor, a wood-burning fire glows in a stone hearth beside a generous corner sofa. Beneath the beams, the dining table seats 16, and a long balcony looks out over the lifts and the mountains. Above the lounge, a mezzanine snug with leather sofas and a TV makes a quieter spot to retreat to.
The bedrooms are all twins, each with a modern en-suite shower room, and are split between the ground and lower floors. One has its beds pushed together and opens onto a shared balcony. A separate WC serves the snug.
The hot tub and a glass-fronted sauna share an indoor wellness room, ready to warm you through after skiing, with bathrobes and slippers to hand.
Your hosts take care of breakfast, cooked or continental, and set out freshly baked cakes at teatime. Come the evening, there are canapés with your apéritif, and complimentary wine flows through a three-course dinner. On Wednesday, your hosts' day off, a short stroll leads to the cafés and restaurants of Tignes Lavachet.
The beds are ready when you walk in, with towels and toiletries waiting. Wi-Fi and a mid-stay clean are included. For the external boot room, you will need outdoor footwear. The free resort bus stops just outside, running to Tignes Val Claret and Tignes les Boisses.
