In the small mountain village of Sankt Christoph am Arlberg, Chalet Arlberghöhe sits right between the piste and the lift, with true ski-in/ski-out convenience. The four-person St. Christophbahn is just metres from the door, carrying you up into the vast Ski Arlberg area with more than 300km of piste to explore. This catered chalet is a big one, with 23 en-suite rooms sleeping up to 78 guests. It is built for very large groups, from families and friends to clubs, associations and companies, it can also be booked in part if your crew is not big enough to book the entire thing.
The stay is fully catered, so everyone can simply relax and enjoy it. Each day begins with a breakfast buffet in the cosy Christoph-Stube, which looks out over the Sankt Christoph pistes. Dinner is a three-course meal cooked by the chalet chefs, and all your drinks are included too, from Austrian beer and wine to soft drinks.
Downtime is well looked after as well. A welcoming stube and a private house bar make sociable spots to gather, and a sauna eases aching legs after skiing. On sunny days, the large terrace is a fine place to sit out with the mountains in view.
The 23 bedrooms are all en-suite and come in a real range of sizes, from singles, doubles, triples and quads up to family rooms sleeping five, six or seven. That flexibility suits all kinds of groups, from a big family to a club or company, and everyone still gets their own bathroom.
