Presentation
Just a few metres from the Osthang piste in St Anton am Arlberg, Chalet Christoph is a cosy, traditional Austrian home for up to 15 guests. From the slope you ski down towards the Galzigbahn and Gampenbahn lifts, and with enough snow a run brings you back close to the chalet. Seven bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, make it a strong fit for larger families and groups of keen skiers.
Inside, plenty of wood and traditional detail give the chalet a warm Tyrolean feel. The heart of the house is the dining room, where the whole group gathers for meals and lingers over a game afterwards. Sunny balconies look out towards Moos, the Rendl and the surrounding slopes.
Breakfast is ready every morning, and dinner is three courses, served on all but one evening of the week. Beer, wine and soft drinks are included, and the evening off is a chance to sample the village's restaurants.
The seven bedrooms are spread over four floors, and each has its own bathroom with a shower and WC. Three larger rooms each come with a seating area of their own. The remaining four are doubles and a twin, a good mix for couples, families and friends.
The famous MooserWirt and Krazy Kanguruh are around a five-minute walk away for après-ski, and the village centre is about 15 minutes on foot. A heated ski room dries boots overnight. Six parking spaces are available, two of them indoors, and the access road climbs steeply at the end, so snow chains are handy. Pets are welcome by arrangement and Wi-Fi is free. The beds are made for your arrival, and towels and the closing clean are included.
Chalet Christoph is made for skiers, with Tyrolean character inside and St Anton's best-known après-ski bars a short stroll away. A gang of keen skiers or a sporty family will find a week exploring Ski Arlberg from here hard to beat.
