Presentation
At the start of the main street in car-free Serfaus, Chalet Kraxner looks out over the village church and the valley beyond. This cosy catered chalet occupies the first and second floors of its building and sleeps up to nine guests in four bedrooms. It suits a couple of families or a larger group of friends.
Simply furnished in a traditional style, the chalet has a separate living room and dining area. Breakfast is served each morning, and the chalet host cooks a three-course dinner in the kitchen-diner on six evenings, with drinks included. The centre of Serfaus, with its shops and restaurants, is just 100 metres away.
Three bedrooms are on the first floor: a double with an en-suite bathroom, plus a triple and a second room for two that share a bathroom. Upstairs, a further double has its own en-suite bathroom, making three bathrooms in all.
Skis and boots have their own storage. The Dorfbahn underground stop is under 50 metres from the door, making the lifts a quick ride away. Cars stay in the covered or open parking at the village entrance, and you can drive up on Saturdays to unload. Wi-Fi is free, beds are made for your arrival, towels are provided and the final clean is included.
With a host cooking for you and the centre on the doorstep, Chalet Kraxner is a charming choice in Serfaus. Parents travelling with grandparents, or a few couples, will enjoy a lovely week on the slopes of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis.
