Presentation
An indoor swimming pool, a sauna and a hammam sit inside what was once a barn and stable. Original stone was kept through the restoration of La Ferme d'Edouard, a luxurious 460 m² chalet in Saint Martin de Belleville. Six en-suite bedrooms sleep fourteen, which suits a few families or a large group of friends.
Living and dining happen on their own impressive level. The living room with an impressive fireplace surrounded by comfortable sofas, the dining room and a separate breakfast area share the floor with a semi-open plan kitchen, and a wine cellar sits alongside. A balcony runs off the same level, with a terrace lower down and a reading lounge below that.
The deluxe master bedroom has the top floor to itself, with a dressing area and an en-suite bathroom holding a bath and a walk-in shower. Four doubles are split across two levels, each en-suite with its own toilet. The children's bedroom has four single beds and a shower room of its own. That makes six bathrooms in all, with two separate WCs besides.
Wood and stone run through the chalet, a nod to the barn it once was. The wellness area is the other draw, with the pool, the sauna and the hammam ready for relaxation and to ease tired ski legs.
The boot heater has boots dry for the morning, while the ski room keeps equipment out of the way. A garage ensures the car is undercover and also has an electric charging point. There is a laundry room, which comes into its own on longer stays, and Wi-Fi covers the chalet. Bathroom products, slippers, champagne and the beds made before you arrive are all included, along with a mid-stay clean. Cots and high chairs can be requested.
A pool, a sauna and a hammam sit inside this tastefully restored farm building and make the luxurious La Ferme d'Edouard a rare find in Saint Martin de Belleville. It is the perfect base for a crowd of friends or family skiing the Three Valleys' 600 km of slopes.
