Presentation
In the traditional village of Saint Martin de Belleville, Chalet Penates sits just 50 metres from the resort centre. The shops are close by and the wider Three Valleys ski area is within reach. Spread over four floors and around 350 m2, it welcomes up to 12 guests in five en-suite bedrooms, a fine fit for larger groups and families travelling together. A wellness area is a real draw, with a heated indoor pool, a sauna and a steam room. Out on a west-facing terrace, a jacuzzi is the place to soak beneath the mountain sky after skiing.
The main living space is warm and welcoming, decorated in a classic Alpine style. Large windows fill the lounge with afternoon light, while a log fire brings it to life for cosy evenings. The separate kitchen is well set up for the chef preparing the half-board menus, with a dishwasher and coffee machine among the kit.
Five en-suite bedrooms are spread across the four floors, each with its own bathroom for genuine privacy. With a bathroom to every one, a full house of 12 has all the room it needs in the mornings. The layout gives couples, children and friends their own space throughout.
Downstairs, the pool, sauna and steam room offer plenty of ways to unwind after a day on the mountain. Out on the terrace, the jacuzzi looks across the peaks for a warm soak under the stars.
Guests are well looked after here. Half-board covers breakfasts, afternoon tea and dinners prepared by the chef, with a car service, daily housekeeping and a local concierge on hand. A dedicated ski room dries boots ready for the morning and keeps skis and boards out of the chalet. Linen, beds made on arrival and an end-of-stay clean come included.
With its central village setting, a full wellness area and the terrace jacuzzi, Chalet Penates blends comfort and convenience in Saint Martin de Belleville. It makes a fantastic base for a large group or families skiing the 600 km Three Valleys.
