On the sunny side of Villarabout, a hamlet near Saint Martin de Belleville, Chalet La Grange 1855 is a beautifully restored valley house with a sauna for the end of a ski day. Five bedrooms sleep ten, making it ideal for a big family or a large group of friends.
Up under the original roof timbers, the top floor holds the lounge, dining room and open-plan kitchen, all arranged around a central fireplace. Views stretch over the village and the mountains. Wood, stone and soft grey tones give the space a warm, comforting feel. A coffee machine and a dishwasher are among the kit. An east-facing terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue catches the morning sun.
Each of the bedrooms has its own en-suite bathroom, giving everyone space to get ready in private. Baby equipment can be provided on request.
Board games are on hand for evenings in, and a ski locker with a boot heater keeps boots dry for the next day. Pets are welcome. Champagne greets you in winter, when a mid-stay clean is also included, and bathroom products are provided with the beds made up for you.
