Presentation
In Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Chalet Ibis puts you on the snow the moment you step out of the boot room. Beyond it, the main village lift, nursery slopes and ski school are all moments away. Traditional on the outside and high-end contemporary within, it spreads 130 square metres over four levels and sleeps 12 across five bedrooms. A large hot tub sits on the covered sun terrace, looking west across the village to the mountains. For a big family gathering or a group of friends, it is a wonderful fit.
The ground floor is given over to a large open-plan seating and dining area, where picture windows frame the village and the peaks beyond. Alongside sits a well-equipped kitchen, with a ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher and Nespresso machine, plus a breakfast bar for casual meals. Up on the first floor, a cosy snug makes a second place to retreat. It has a wall-mounted TV with UK channels and streaming, plus a stack of board games.
The five bedrooms occupy the two lower floors, each fitted with twin beds. A hand-crafted bunk room sleeps four and has its own bathtub, ideal for children or friends sharing. The master bedroom adds a walk-in wardrobe and its own en-suite. Three further twins are served by a separate shower room and a large family bathroom with an Italian shower.
After skiing, the sauna is a fine way to thaw out and relieve tired legs. The hot tub sits under cover on the terrace, so you can soak whatever the weather. A laundry room with washing machine and dryer helps on longer stays. A private garage space keeps the car out of the snow.
Ski-in/ski-out, with a covered hot tub and a sauna of its own, Chalet Ibis is a polished base for a full house. Saint-Martin-de-Belleville gives a large group a traditional Savoyard village to come home to, with the Three Valleys stretching out above it.
