Chalet Blom is a converted barn in Praranger, a traditional hamlet in the Belleville valley, home to Saint Martin de Belleville and Les Menuires. Completely renovated, it has a sauna to unwind in after skiing and a top-floor living space under the roof. Room for 12 across four bedrooms makes it perfect for a large family or a big group of friends.
Up in the attic, the living area is the chalet's showpiece. The kitchen, dining space and lounge share one big room warmed by a wood stove. A dishwasher, a stone grill and a fondue set make alpine evenings in a pleasure. A terrace looks out over the village.
Three of the bedrooms are en-suite, and the dormitory has six beds, a fun choice for children or friends sharing. Four bathrooms in all make getting ready easier.
For games or a film, there is a separate TV lounge, and the chalet has books and Netflix to hand. Skis stay out of the living space in the lockers, and boot warmers dry boots for the morning. A laundry room with a dryer takes care of ski kit. There is parking, and the beds are made before you arrive.
