Chalet Litote solves the problem every big group knows: 16 people, one roof, and a bathroom each. Seven bedrooms spread across 200 m² in Saint Martin de Belleville, every one en-suite, so a large party or several families can travel together without splitting between two chalets. The ski room opens onto the piste, and a sauna waits on the lowest level.
An open fire anchors the lounge, a 15 m² west-facing balcony off it. Two floors down, a 20 m² television room gives the party somewhere else to be when the group splits, the film one way and the card game the other. The open-plan kitchen has an induction hob and room for several cooks at once, which counts for a lot when you are cooking for a crowd.
Four bedrooms sit on the lower level, two with their own balconies and baths, two with shower rooms. Below them, two more twins and a bunk room for four keep to the same standard, each en-suite. Every bed is a single, so the rooms make up as doubles or twins to suit the party.
An indoor garage — no small thing at this altitude — comes with the chalet. Boot and glove dryers sit in the ski room. The laundry has a washing machine and a separate dryer. The beds are made up for your arrival, with towels and an end-of-stay clean included.
