Ski-in/ski-out a few steps from the Three Valleys slopes, Chalet Becca stands four storeys high in the new Caseblanche area of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. Seven bedrooms sleep up to 16 guests. It has its own private sauna, and a lift links every floor. Century-old timber, Arpin wool throws and a log fire give it a warm, characterful feel for big families or groups of friends.
Living space is on the second floor. A 50 square-metre room combines a lounge around the fireplace with a dining area looking out over the mountains. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a Nespresso machine, an induction hob and a large fridge-freezer, making self-catering for a crowd simple. Outside, the 40 square-metre terrace is heated and has outdoor furniture and an OFYR barbecue, ideal for lunch in the sun.
Five of the seven bedrooms have their own bathrooms. Four of these doubles fill the first floor. The top floor holds a fifth en-suite double, plus a double with a TV and a bunk room for four, also with a TV, which share a separate shower room. That makes six bathrooms in all, plus WCs on the ground and second floors. The sauna is on the first floor, with its own shower.
Downstairs, the ski room has boot and glove dryers. There is a garage for two cars, plus a washing machine and dryer. Wi-Fi is provided, the beds are made before arrival, towels are supplied and an end-of-stay clean is included. A ski rental shop and a bistro-restaurant are on the doorstep, with the gondola 50 metres away.
A private sauna, a sunny terrace and skiing from the door make Chalet Becca a standout in Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. For a large group of friends or several families exploring the Three Valleys, it is a superb choice.
