Presentation
With a hot tub on its west-facing terrace and the slopes right beside it, Le Tournesol is a four-bedroom apartment in a peaceful spot on the Pleney side of Morzine. When the snow allows, confident skiers can ski in and out via the Retour des Nants blue run, reached across a small sloping field beside the building. Everything is on one level, which suits a large family with young children as well as a party of eight friends. A short walk down the road, the free bus from the Chanterey stop runs into Morzine town centre and its Pleney and Super Morzine gondolas. In winter there is also a private driver at extra cost, reached by call or WhatsApp at any hour, who can take skiers anywhere in Morzine or Les Gets, including Ardent and Prodains for Avoriaz.
The open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge lead onto the main terrace, where the last skiers of the day pass by as the sun sets. The modern kitchen is fitted with a Nespresso machine. A smaller east-facing terrace looks over Morzine towards Avoriaz, and morning light fills the long hallway.
The master bedroom has a super king bed and an en-suite with a bath and a shower. Two more king-size rooms can be split into twins, one with its own shower room and the other with a Jack-and-Jill shower room that also opens from the hall. A bunk room with two single beds has a separate WC next door.
The garage under the building has one parking space and a private boot room, where heated warmers dry boots and there is storage for skis. A laundry area with a washer and dryer helps on longer stays, and Wi-Fi, The White Company toiletries, bathrobes and slippers are provided. Chalet Joy next door can be booked alongside for bigger groups.
