Presentation
Set in a former stable between Morzine and Montriond, Apartment Deux Chevaux is a two-bedroom home with industrial-led design, floor-to-ceiling windows and a wood-burning stove. It sleeps four, or six with the sofa bed, so a family or a group of friends can share it comfortably. Morzine and the village of Montriond are each a flat 10-minute walk away, and the free bus from the L'Elé stop, a few minutes away, heads into Morzine town centre. In winter, a private driver can be booked at extra cost, on call by phone or WhatsApp to run skiers to any lift in Morzine or Les Gets.
Floor-to-ceiling windows bring plenty of daylight into the open-plan living, kitchen and dining space. The wood-burning stove makes it cosy after skiing, and glass doors slide back onto a balcony with views over the valley and forest. Guests can also use the outdoor area.
Both bedrooms lead off the living space, each with its own en-suite shower room, and both can be set up as doubles or twins. Either bedroom can also take a cot or a camp bed, and a large sofa in the lounge opens into a double bed.
Skis and boots go in the store at the entrance, where heated racks have boots dry by morning, and rental kit can be fitted in the apartment at extra cost. Outside there is parking, plus a lockable bike store and a covered spot for working on skis, boards or bikes. Toiletries come from The White Company, and pets are welcome. Larger parties can take the whole building, adding Chalet Bobb upstairs to form Four Twenty L'Elé, which sleeps 12.
