Presentation
Between the Super Morzine lift and the village of Montriond, Chalet Zaza is a homely new-build with four bedrooms, a hot tub on its deck and a fireplace in the lounge. It sleeps eight across three floors, with space for a large family or eight friends. Morzine's bars and restaurants are a 10-minute walk away over the suspension bridge. A few minutes from the door, the free bus from the L'Elé stop runs into Morzine town centre for Pleney and Super Morzine, or up to Lac de Montriond. A private driver is available in winter at extra cost, answering calls or WhatsApps at any hour and aiming to arrive within 20 minutes. The minibus reaches any lift in Morzine or Les Gets, including Ardent and Prodains for Avoriaz.
The chalet is built into the hillside, with its living space on the top floor. Here, the open-plan space combines a lounge, a dining table looking out over the mountains and a sleek, modern kitchen. The back door opens straight onto the deck, while sliding doors on the other side lead to a balcony that catches the sunset.
Three bedrooms share the middle floor. Two have super king beds and en-suites with double showers, and the third, a king, has a shower room next door. All three can be set up as twins. Down at the entrance, a bunk room with two single beds has a shower room opposite.
The entrance level also leads to the garage and a boot room with heated boot warmers. There is space for one car in the garage and three more outside. UK Sky TV, a Sonos system, Wi-Fi, a washing machine and dryer and a Nespresso machine are all provided, with bathrobes, slippers and toiletries from The White Company. Chalet Zaza sits in front of Four Twenty L'Elé, and a garden gate links the two for groups of up to 18.
