Presentation
In the old town of Morzine, Chalet Vesper is a renovated barn that keeps its original exterior but is thoroughly modern inside. Its private garden has a hot tub, and the upstairs lounge is built around an impressive fireplace set between two grand bookcases. Four bedrooms sleep ten, giving an extended family or ten friends room to holiday under one roof. The nearest bars and restaurants are an eight-minute walk away. From the Pont de la Ratte stop outside the door, the free bus runs into Morzine town centre for the Pleney and Super Morzine lifts. In winter, a private driver can be added at extra cost: call or WhatsApp at any hour and a minibus aims to arrive within 20 minutes, ready for any lift in Morzine or Les Gets.
The whole top floor is one open-plan space. The kitchen has a breakfast bar with stools, and a separate drinks bar is set up for cocktails. Mountain views come through the apex window and from the balconies, and a Sonos system fills the room with music for evenings in. From the kitchen, a door and a staircase lead down to the garden, where a barbecue and outdoor dining furniture are set up for meals outside.
All four bedrooms are on the ground floor, and every double or king can be split into twins. Two are triples, each with a built-in single bed. Three bedrooms have en-suites, one of them with a bath, and the fourth has a shower room next door. Wood panelling and James Bond touches in the art give the rooms their character.
The ground floor also has a large boot room with heated boot and glove dryers and plenty of space for ski kit, plus laundry facilities. The welcome pack includes Champagne, beers, groceries and firewood. Wi-Fi, a Nespresso machine and The White Company toiletries are provided, and pets are welcome.
