Presentation
Set on the wooded mountainside above Morzine, Chalet Sandjeman is a modern larch chalet with an outdoor barrel sauna, a hot tub and its own spa treatment room. Five bedrooms sleep 12, with room for a large family or a lively group of friends. The bars near the Mairie are an eight-minute walk away, and the Pleney and Super Morzine lifts are four minutes by car. In winter, a private driver can be added at extra cost. One call or WhatsApp at any hour brings a minibus just for the group, taking skiers to any lift in Morzine or Les Gets, up to Prodains for Avoriaz, or home from dinner.
A glass, metal and stone staircase links the half levels, and terraces or balconies on each floor take in the forest and mountains. On the second floor, the open-plan kitchen has a big island and a dining table for 12. Half a level up, a living room with a TV nook and a large sofa is set round the crackling log fire, with board games and a Harman Kardon sound system.
A second lounge on the third floor has floor-to-ceiling windows. From here, a hidden wooden door opens into the wellness area, with the treatment room, a shower and access to the sauna and hot tub, both looking out to the trees. A therapist can be booked at extra cost.
