Presentation
With its own private bridge onto the gentle Forêt piste, Chalet Forêt is a ski-in/ski-out apartment in Méribel's Belvédère area. Guests can glide from the front door down to the Rond Point, and the Rhodos mid-station lift is close by. Set across the top three floors of a traditional alpine building, this family-owned home sleeps 15. Its seven bedrooms, all en-suite, suit multiple families or a party of friends.
A roaring open fire anchors the generous living spaces, with comfy corners dotted around it, and panoramic views stretch across the valley. The well-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine, so the chef is set up for the week and the morning coffee is never far away.
Five of the bedrooms are doubles, including a master with wonderful mountain views and its own dressing room. A triple has a double bed and a single, and a bunk room is a hit with children.
Forêt comes catered, with breakfast every morning and chef-prepared dinners on five evenings. A host looks after the property, the housekeeping is daily and the wine flows freely all week. An all-day driver is included. Those who prefer to cook for themselves can book it serviced and self-catered instead.
Boot warmers in the ski room dry boots overnight, and skis stay out of the living space. Dressing gowns are provided, and four covered parking spaces are a real bonus in Méribel. A smart TV with UK channels, a sound system and Wi-Fi are on hand.
