Presentation
There is a strong argument to support its owner's claim that Chalet le Refuge has the best location of any chalet in Méribel. The chalet is situated at the bottom of the Truite (green) piste in the centre of La Chaudanne and is within 75m of three gondolas (Rhodos, Saulire, Tougnete), one chairlift (Legends) and one drag lift (Stade). Fifty-something metres further on and you hit the centre of Méribel with its extensive range of shops, bars & restaurants. It's a strong claim!
Le Refuge is a nice chalet too. You will enter via a small courtyard garden which plays host to a hot-tub al fresco. The ground floor of the chalet is given over to the living area with lounge and dining area with closed kitchen. At the rear of the chalet there is a games room with table football and a ski room.
Upstairs, a hallway leads you to all bedrooms; the floodlit view of the Stade de Slalom piste in the evening seems so close you’ll feel you can reach out and touch it. There are five bedrooms, all of which have en-suite shower rooms.
Chalet le Refuge sleeps up to ten persons in five en-suite bedrooms and is offered on a fully-catered basis.
