Presentation
Chalet Sapin is a modern catered home right on the slopes of Reberty 2000, above Les Menuires. You can ski in and out from the boot room door. Beginners are well looked after too, as the ski school meets just outside. Its five bedrooms sleep 11, ideal for a big family or a lively crowd. After skiing, a hot tub and a sauna are waiting.
On the first floor, a large living area wraps around a central wood-burning stove, with grey sofas and tartan cushions beneath a timber roof. Beyond the sofas, the dining table sits alongside the kitchen, and a balcony to the side looks out over the mountains.
Three of the bedrooms can be made up as twins or doubles, each with its own en-suite. One is at ground level, opening onto a terrace. The two by the living area have baths, and one adds a separate shower. Upstairs, a triple and a small double sit partly under the eaves, both with en-suite shower rooms and separate WCs.
Mornings begin with a cooked or continental breakfast, and afternoon tea is ready when you come off the slopes. At dinner time, an apéritif and canapés set the scene for three courses and complimentary wine. La Ferme de Reberty, the hamlet's own restaurant, is close at hand for the hosts' Wednesday off.
Indoors on the ground floor is a sauna, while outside on the terrace the hot tub has sensational views. The beds are ready for your arrival. Bathrobes and slippers come with the towels and toiletries. A clean in the middle of the week is included, and so is Wi-Fi.
A hot tub, a sauna and the ski school at the door make Chalet Sapin a sociable catered choice above Les Menuires. Eleven friends or a large family, beginners included, are set for a brilliant week in the mighty Three Valleys.
