Presentation
Step out of the boot room at Chalet Névé and the Les Boyes blue run is right there, so you can ski in and out every day. This pretty, traditionally styled catered chalet sits at the heart of Reberty 2000, above Les Menuires. It sleeps nine in four bedrooms. A hot tub on the balcony and a sauna downstairs are there for après-ski. Larger families and groups of friends will feel at home.
A timber roof with a skylight crowns the first-floor living area. Red sofas face a log fire, and the dining table and kitchen share the same space. Outside, the balcony is the place to watch the sunset over the mountains from the hot tub.
Two bedrooms on this floor can be twins or doubles, both lit by skylight windows in the roof. Their en-suites have a bath, and one adds a separate shower. Tucked partly under the eaves above are a triple and a small double, each with an en-suite shower and a separate WC. The double has a skylight window too.
Your day starts with breakfast, cooked or continental, and when the lifts close there is afternoon tea to come home to. Three courses with complimentary wine follow canapés and an apéritif each evening. La Ferme de Reberty, a short stroll away, makes a good choice on Wednesday, the hosts' night off.
Expect made-up beds, towels, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers on arrival. Free Wi-Fi and a clean halfway through the week are standard. A few minutes on skis brings you to lifts for La Masse, Les Menuires and Val Thorens. The hamlet also has a ski hire shop and a small supermarket.
