Presentation
Apartment Artois is a four-bedroom home right on the main high street in the heart of Les Gets, opposite Cinéma Le Club, with shops, bars and restaurants all around. Two lifts, including Chavannes, are a short walk away. Residents can use the building's wellness centre, with a sauna, a hammam and a small gym. It sleeps eight, putting a big family or a party of friends at the centre of village life. In winter, a private driver can also be booked at extra cost, answering a call or WhatsApp at any hour for trips to the Morzine lifts or out to Ardent and Prodains for Avoriaz.
The apartment is on the first floor, at the quieter back of the building, with a balcony over a courtyard garden. The open-plan lounge and kitchen have an L-shaped sofa and floor-to-ceiling windows, with the mountains peeking over the rooftops. The dining table seats everyone for meals together, and the kitchen has a Nespresso machine.
The layout is all on one level. Three bedrooms open onto the balcony and can be made up as doubles, two of them also as twins. Two have en-suite shower rooms, and the third uses the family bathroom, which has a bath, with a separate WC next door. A bunk room off the entrance hall has two full-size bunks, though it has no window.
Underground parking takes two cars, and there is a heated ski locker and a lift. A washer-dryer sits in the family bathroom. Apple TV, Wi-Fi and The White Company toiletries are provided, with a travel cot and high chair on request. The Les Sources du Chéry day spa is nearby for treatments.
With the village on the doorstep and the building's sauna, hammam and gym to share, Apartment Artois is about as central as Les Gets gets. An extended family or a sizeable group of friends will be perfectly placed for a week in the Portes du Soleil.
