Facing the Écrins in Les Deux Alpes, Chalet Solyn is a high-end home with a hot tub on its terrace and a private sauna. An internal lift serves all three levels, and a private shuttle is included for trips to the ski lifts, ski school and the resort centre. It sleeps 12 in four bedrooms, room enough for an extended family or a big gathering of friends.
The living space is bright and welcoming, with big bay windows framing the mountains. The fully equipped kitchen is open to the room, with a central island and a wine cellar. A corner sofa and armchairs gather round a wood stove, a reclaimed-wood alcove offers a quieter corner, and a spacious terrace opens off this floor.
Three bedrooms, each with outdoor access, are named after colours, as is the dormitory. The red and yellow bedrooms have doubles that convert to twins, the blue bedroom has a double, and all three have shower rooms. The orange dormitory has two sets of bunks and two singles that push together, plus a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
