Presentation
Overlooking the village of Les Deux Alpes, Chalet 1696 has its own spa, with an indoor pool and a sauna, and an exceptional view of the mountains. The slopes are just 50 metres away, and the chalet's private shuttle is included for trips to the lifts and around the resort. This 240 m² home sleeps 14 (max eight adults) across five bedrooms, suiting a large family or a big group of friends.
Stone, granite and old wood give the chalet an understated, elegant alpine style. On the main level, the designer kitchen has a central island, and a wine cellar sits alongside. A large oak table for 14 fills the dining area, and the lounge centres on an open fireplace with a corner sofa. Above it, a reading corner looks down over the space. A south-facing wooden deck opens off this level.
On the ground floor, four double bedrooms each have a shower room, a mountain view and a terrace. A dormitory with six beds, good for children or friends sharing, has its own bathroom with a bathtub. A laundry room and three toilets complete the level.
The pool has counter-current swimming and massage jets, ready to soothe tired legs after skiing. A sauna with chromotherapy and a double walk-in shower complete the spa.
Outside the spa, a covered terrace has deckchairs, and there is a ski room, a garage for three cars and bike storage. Bread and pastries are delivered to the door and a mid-stay clean is included, while a chef or massages can be booked at extra cost.
