Presentation
Seven bedrooms over four levels make Chalet Pierra Menta 2 one of the largest homes in Les Chalets du Cocoon at Plagne 1800 in La Plagne. It has a private sauna, and guests share a jacuzzi for five with the neighbouring Pierra Menta 1 on alternate days. With room for 15 and the nearest lift about 100 metres away, it is built for several families or a big group of friends.
The top floor is given over to living, with four sofas around a pellet fireplace. Of its two balconies, one looks to Mont Blanc and the other over the slopes. The dining table seats 15, and the open-plan kitchen has an XL oven and a dishwasher among its kit, plus a beer tap for 6-litre barrels sold at reception.
Every bedroom has its own shower room and toilet. On the ground floor, one has a single plus two singles that push together, one has a double and one has twin beds. Upstairs, there are two doubles and two twins, and two of these rooms open onto a balcony.
Skis and boots have a private ski room with a boot dryer, the laundry is on the lower level, and there is parking. Pets are welcome for a fee, towels are provided and the beds are made before you arrive.
A sauna of its own, a shared jacuzzi and views to Mont Blanc make Chalet Pierra Menta 2 a sociable choice in La Plagne. For a big group, it is a superb base for skiing the Paradiski area.
