Just 50 metres from the slopes, lifts and village shopping street in La Plagne, Chalet La Vieille Maison is an authentic catered home with a private sauna and a whirlpool, or hot tub. Seven bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, sleep up to 22, including four children. It is a great choice for several families or a large group of friends.
Traditional alpine architecture sets the tone, and the spacious living and dining room on the ground floor is warmed by a fireplace, with firewood included. Mountain views make it a lovely place to gather at the end of the day.
On the lower ground floor, two double rooms have en-suite bathrooms, and a third double is on the ground floor. Upstairs, two doubles in the loft and two triple rooms all have their own bathrooms.
The wellness area pairs the sauna with the whirlpool, ready for a soak after skiing. The chalet is fully catered, with a breakfast buffet every morning, homemade three-course dinners, and beer, wine and soft drinks included. An afternoon tea package can be added. There is heated ski storage, and après-ski in the lively village is just steps away.
