Presentation
Right in the centre of Gerlos, Chalet Dorferhaus is around 200 metres from the Dorfbahn gondola. The village's après-ski bars are a couple of minutes from the door. This characterful catered chalet sleeps up to 16 guests in seven bedrooms. Larger families, groups of friends and smaller company groups who want to be in the thick of things will love it.
Inside, plenty of wood, traditional furnishings and a tiled Austrian stove give the chalet a warm Tyrolean feel. The living and dining area is the heart of the house, with a separate seating corner for a quiet read. Breakfast is served every morning and a three-course dinner on six evenings, with beer, house wine, soft drinks, coffee and tea included.
The seven bedrooms are spread over three floors and share five bathrooms. On the first floor, a double has an en-suite with a bath and shower. The next level up has a room for two and a triple, each with its own bathroom. A single there shares a bathroom with a bath, with a separate WC in the hallway. At the top, a twin and two triples share the fifth bathroom.
The heated ski room dries boots and keeps skis tidy overnight. Parking for up to six cars can be booked at a daily charge, Wi-Fi is free and the final clean is included.
A tiled stove, real Tyrolean character and the gondola and après-ski a short walk away make Chalet Dorferhaus a sociable choice in Gerlos. A ski-mad crowd or several generations of one family will have a fantastic week exploring the 150 km Zillertal Arena.
