Presentation
Lord of Snow opens straight onto the Bellecôte slope in Courchevel 1850, and it is among the largest chalets built there in recent years. A spa with a heated pool and a jacuzzi sits at the centre of it. Across 1237 m² there are seven bedrooms for fourteen guests. It is made for a large group or several families taking the whole chalet.
Contemporary art runs through the chalet as a private collection, and the pieces are part of the fabric rather than an afterthought. Blond oak lines the rooms, and each bedroom is given a character of its own. The sandstone Seven Ravens by Violaine Laveaux stand where the chalet meets the slope. A fireplace anchors the living room, and a lift reaches every floor.
Seven bedrooms sleep fourteen, every one of them en-suite, which gives everyone space to get ready in private. There are ten WCs in all.
The spa is the heart of the place. Its pool and jacuzzi sit alongside a sauna, a steam room and a fitness room, ready to undo a hard day in the Three Valleys.
The chalet's own staff look after it, with a private concierge service included and a driver on hand. Bathrobes, slippers and towels are provided, with beds made before arrival. Cars go in the garage, and the ski room has boot warmers.
A private spa with pool and jacuzzi, contemporary art throughout and a door onto the Bellecôte put Lord of Snow among the most complete addresses in Courchevel 1850. A large group or several families will find it an extraordinary week in the Three Valleys.
