Presentation
An indoor jacuzzi and a hammam make up the private spa at Chalet Kibo, a luxurious 320 m² base on the forest edge in Courchevel Village. The slopes are 20 metres from the door, and you can ski back to the chalet at the end of the day. Five bedrooms sleep eleven, eight adults and three children, enough room for a large group of skiers and snowboarders. Both the village centre and the ski school are around 100 metres away.
The top floor is the heart of the chalet, with the living room on one side and the dining room on the other. A mineral concrete and clear oak fireplace is built into the partition between them, with two sofas facing the fire and a two-metre LED chandelier above. A terrace and a balcony open off the same level. Alongside them, the open-plan kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, a coffee machine and a fondue set if you decide to self-cater.
Every one of the five bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, so everyone gets ready in private. In the master there is a double bed, a bath and a shower, plus its own separate toilet. Three more doubles are split across two floors, one of them with a terrace, and the children's room has three single beds. There is an extra WC too.
Tired ski legs are well served by the chalet's spa area, which has a hammam and a jacuzzi. Alongside it, the home cinema comes with a giant high-definition screen and a library of films. There is also a laundry room for longer stays.
The chalet's housekeeper is there six hours a day, preparing and serving breakfast and taking care of the cleaning. Champagne, flowers and a welcome basket are waiting on arrival, with the beds made, towels, slippers and bathroom products all provided. Boots go in the boot heater ready for the next day, and skis and boards are kept out of the way in the ski room. The garage keeps the car out of the snow. Wi-Fi and firewood are included. Cots and high chairs can be requested.
