Presentation
Chalet Pom de Pin sits in the centre of Châtel, just 150 metres from the Super-Châtel gondola and 50 metres from the heart of the village. This simple catered home sleeps up to ten, including two children, in five bedrooms. Multiple families or a larger group of friends will find it a friendly fit.
The main living space is on the first floor, with comfortable seating and a dining area where everyone can sit down to eat. A balcony runs around the house.
All five bedrooms are doubles. Two on the ground floor have en-suite shower rooms, and two more share a bathroom between them. The fifth, upstairs, also has its own shower room, making four bathrooms in all.
The chalet is catered by two English-speaking hosts, with a breakfast buffet each morning and three-course dinners on six evenings. Beer, wine and soft drinks are included. Beds are made before you arrive and towels are provided. There is Wi-Fi and ample parking. For a bigger party, the chalet can be booked alongside its neighbour, Chalet Alpaka.
With the gondola and the village both a short stroll away, Chalet Pom de Pin is a friendly, well-placed base in Châtel. Parents and grandparents with the children, or a big group of friends, will have a great week exploring the Portes du Soleil.
