Presentation
In the authentic heart of Châtel, catered Chalet Alpaka is a spacious, sociable base built for sizeable groups. Spread over four floors, it sleeps up to 30 guests across 13 bedrooms, all en-suite. A sauna and fitness room help you wind down after skiing, while chalet hosts take care of the day-to-day. It is an excellent choice for a large group of friends, a family gathering, a club or a company trip.
The stay is fully catered, so no one has to lift a finger. The hosts lay on a breakfast buffet each morning and a three-course dinner on six evenings, with beer, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee included. For a full house, that means no rotas, no washing up and no debate over whose turn it is to cook, just time together.
The chalet is built for sociable evenings. A generous living room has a fireplace, comfortable seating and mountain views, with a long dining table to bring everyone together. There is a private bar and a pool table that doubles as ping-pong. For a quieter wind-down, a Finnish sauna and a fitness room are on hand. A veranda with lounge sofas rounds things off, with the mountain air and the outlook over Châtel.
The 13 bedrooms are spread across four floors, each with its own bathroom, a real plus at this size. Ten are twins, two are triples and one is a quadruple, several opening onto a private balcony. For an even bigger party, the chalet can join with neighbouring Chalet Pom de Pin to sleep up to 38.
Fully catered, with 13 en-suite bedrooms and a central spot in Châtel, Chalet Alpaka is made for groups who want to stay and play together. From the village you reach Les Portes du Soleil, a vast cross-border area with 600 kilometres of slopes for every level.
