Presentation
In the heart of Chamonix, The Castle Chalet enjoys a prime central position, just a few minutes' walk from the town's shops, bars and restaurants. The iconic Aiguille du Midi cable car sits only 400 metres away. Spread across four floors, the chalet sleeps up to 20 guests in ten bedrooms. An outdoor hot tub in the grounds offers a welcome spot to ease tired legs after a day on the slopes. It is an excellent fit for extended families, or larger groups of friends, and even works well as a corporate retreat.
Arranged as three distinct spaces — The Lodge, Le Midi and The Summit — the chalet gives a large group room to spread out. Each has its own lounge, kitchen and entertainment system. A dining area seats all 20 together for evening meals. When taken alongside the neighbouring properties (Chalet Le Nid and The Princess Suite), it extends to seat up to 30. The main kitchen is geared for catering at scale, with two ovens, an induction hob, two dishwashers and a Nespresso coffee machine. A raclette and pierrade grill is available on request for convivial group dinners. Outside, a private balcony, a terrace and a garden extend the living space into the open air.
Ten bedrooms are split between the three areas, each able to be set up as a twin or a double. Up to seven can take super-king beds, adding flexibility over who sleeps where. Eight bathrooms serve the chalet, several of them en-suite, so everyone has space to get ready.
A separate heated ski room with boot dryer keeps kit warm and dry between outings. Private parking is on site, with a washing machine and dryer for longer stays, plus fast 1gb broadband throughout. The nearest bus stop is just 130 metres away, with Chamonix's buses, train and the electric Mulet serving the valley's wider ski areas.
