Presentation
Atria-Crozats sits right on the snow in Avoriaz, with skiing to and from the door and the Portes du Soleil laid out in front of it. This two-bedroom apartment sleeps six and has a balcony with mountain views, which suits families or friends travelling together, with a sauna and steam room in the residence.
Inside, the living room is bright, with a TV and somewhere to stow the week's kit. Off the same room, the balcony is angled at the mountains and worth an hour on a clear afternoon. Open to that space and properly equipped for six, the kitchen has a Nespresso machine, a ceramic hob and a dishwasher, making group meals and the clearing-up afterwards simple.
Two bedrooms sleep four, one with a double bed and the other with twin singles, both with their own storage unit. A double sofa bed or two daybeds in the living room add the last two places. The bathroom has a bathtub and a shower, plus a hair dryer and a heated towel rail, with the WC separate.
Guests can use the residence's sauna, steam room and cardio room for a charge paid on site, worth knowing about when legs need stretching out. Avoriaz is car-free, so cars go in the covered park at the resort entrance, also paid locally. A snowmobile or a horse-drawn sleigh runs you up to reception, and the return trip is free on production of your accommodation voucher. The village shops and restaurants are within easy reach.
Skiing from the door and back to it, with the Portes du Soleil beyond, gives a week here real range, and there are wellness facilities in the building too. Atria-Crozats is a strong choice for a family or friends skiing together, in for a fantastic week in Avoriaz.
