Presentation
Ski-in/ski-out from the door, Chalet Loup sits in Alpe d'Huez with the Bergers piste right beside it. This 350 m² home sleeps 14 across eight bedrooms. Its own wellness area, with a jacuzzi and a sauna, gives everyone somewhere to unwind once the skis come off. Sized for an extended family or a big group of friends, it makes the most of one of the sunniest resorts in the Alps.
Set around a fireplace, the living room is separate from a large dining room. Alongside, the open-plan kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, a coffee machine and a fondue set, making it simple to cook for a crowd. Wood, stone, hides and fur give the interiors a warm, chic mountain feel. Balconies lead off the main floor, with views to the peaks of the Oisans massif and the afternoon sun to enjoy over a drink.
Seven of the eight bedrooms are en-suite, giving everyone space to get ready in private. Two have a double bed, among them the top-floor master, and five are twins, one with beds that can be joined, each opening onto a balcony or terrace. The eighth is a mountain corner with a single bed on the top floor. Two of the bathrooms have baths and the rest showers, while a separate WC on the entrance floor is useful for guests.
The indoor jacuzzi and sauna share the wellness area with a walk-in shower, perfect for easing tired legs after skiing. A games room keeps the evenings lively, and the ski room has boot warmers to dry boots ready for the morning. A secure covered garage holds three cars, and a laundry and fibre Wi-Fi complete the practicalities.
Beds are made before arrival, with slippers and bathroom products provided. A mid-stay clean and a change of towels are included. A welcome basket with champagne greets the group, and wood is laid on for the fire.
